With that power the light seems to be designed for WA video, how this light compare with the Keldan 4x?

For macro, a 1000 Lumens narrow beam light seam to be enough.
I read in several place, some people a using a red filter on the light to avoid scaring marine life.

The Sola 8000 has a bit more power than the Keldan 6,000 Lumen lights. Not as long and they just plug in the back to recharge, you don't have to remove the battery.
