I also don’t check a bag unless it’s free which doesn’t happen now days. I pack all of my dive gear into a 10L dry bag and attach it to my aluminum freedom and carry it all, 18lbs total and I buy consumables at the destination, it all matters to me.

Interesting. If you are carrying the bag, surely a few ounces of weight doesn't matter at all or do you use airlines that weigh carry ons? Can you list the gear you take and the gear you rent at your destination?

A few ounces plus a few more and a few more, pretty soon you’re talking real weight. I take everything except tanks and weights.

It looks like I have mine set at about 1.2” as it’s set for bungee’d neckless use, about the same as my D420 but not as responsive to in water use as the D, pretty conventional design and in use more like an S600.

The C makes a good HP companion to the D.

Again, out of pure curiosity, is the blue the same shade as the D?

Pretty close, the big blue “S” one the 370 gives a darker impression but it’s a lot bigger the the blue”420” which being printed on a foil type material may have more to do with it looking a little different.
