Lighting with C5050

The C5050 doesn't fire the builtin flash for macro or super macro so i'm wondering how im going to sync an external flash when i use it in a Pt15 housing. One consideration is to just use a video lite. this seems to have some advantages of seeing just where the light cone is. I suppose the main drawback is for medium distance it may not have enough light to get a decient shutter speed.

Any recommendations on this?

Yes...the flash will fire in super macro.
