Here is a cool pic of the area. On the upper right side of the bridge you can see a rectangle marked off in the water. The upper line is the safety catch cable for the dam. The left line is a row of pilings that will come out. This area is where the marina is going in. This gives you a good perspective of its relationship to the main dam.

The water going off to the left goes to the smaller south channel dam while the middle goes to the power plant.

The pic of the dam open is at low flow. Down stream is still very diveable at that flow.
