You actually have several choices.

Nekton Cruises to Bahamas out of Ft Lauderdale.
Ultimate Getaway to Tortugas out of Ft. Myers
Playmate to Tortugas out of Key West.
Sea Fever out of east Florida to Bahamas, (They might be out of business).

There is also another boat like Sea Fever that left east Florida and went to the Bahamas. I just can't remember it's name. I think it dives the Grand Bahamas areas...

There used to be one in Key Largo, but maybe it went out of business.

This boat runs from WPB to the Bahamas:

They've been doing it for a long time so they are probably pretty good (or people wouldn't go back, right?). I have not actually been on it but a friend that lives near the boat goes as a last minute passenger (at a discount) a few times a year. She is lucky enough to be single and have a flexible schedule.

Gulfstream Eagle is out of West Palm Beach in the same marina as most of the regular dive boats. They go to various locations in the Bahamas based on time of year.

In an overall sense, the captain is very lenient and divers generally make their own profiles as they see fit. They only have air, no nitrox available.
Feel free to PM me if you are interested in further information regarding them.

Yep! that's the other one I can't remember.

Yep. Their website http://www.seafever.com/ says Sorry, Sea Fever has been sold & is no longer in business.

The reason I thought they might be out of business is that I can swear I saw their boat for sale of all places, on EBAY.

Have you considered diving the Dry Tortugas? I'm hosting a photography/video trip to the Tortugas National Marine Sanctuary aboard the Ultimate Getaway July 21-24. This liveaboard is MUCH nicer than a Blackbeards boat and still reasonably priced IMO. They don't limit you to one 2-minute shower per day either... they have real water-makers. :)

Their Shearwater goes out to the Bahamas from WPB. Good boat. I was on one of their trips 2 years ago and enjoyed it immensely.

I haven't looked lately, but the Dream Too used to run out of Riveria Beach.
