Lobster Wreck (Porta Allegra)

I forgot to post this, but my dive buddy bagged this sucker last November while we were diving the Lobster Wreck with Olympus. I saw him wrestling around with it in this hole under one of the plates/boilers and got ready to bag it. Unfortunately, I had one of those little trident mesh bags on me and he swims over with this thing (for reference, he is about 6'2"). I just sorta shrugged, pointed at the bag, and shook my head. We had to swim around and find some of the more hardcore lobster divers with those nifty catch bags since he wouldn't fit in my bag.

I was the only one on the trip to return home lobsterless .

That sucker is HUGE! Great catch.
I was just chatting with Diversauras about Olympus. I have not been out there but want to plan a trip. Maybe I can get lucky with a big-one like that.
