Any of my SW Floridians found lobster spots that you're willing to share? I am tied up with work commitments on Wed, and can't get over to the East Coast Thursday, but I probably have time to take the boat of Naples or Ft. Myers. I just don't know if there are decent places to find bugs.

Any successes? :idk:

What a bizarre video, but it kind of made me hungry. :D

Those lobsters off Broward and Palm Beach County must be confused, eh?

I could even get down to Marco Island on Thurs... but not sure if there's any lobsters to be had there.

There are lobsters off SW Fla, but there is really no way to target them like on the east coast or Keys. I consider SWFL bugs lucky bonus finds when spearfishing and covering lots and lots of ledge and/or hard bottom. The good news is when you find one they are usually huge and often you will find a few more nearby. The bad news is they are beyond elusive.

I do know where to find shovel noses....but that aint got much to do with mini season.
