Going to be doing the Fundamentals in High Springs Fl. So I know it's 72 and we won't be going deep but if doing it wet what would be a good thickness? I have a 3mm, if I add a 2 mm hood/vest would that do it or do I need even more?

I got through Fundies in High Springs in a 5 mm plus a 3 mm hooded vest underneath. You will be in the water for 50-60 minutes at a stretch, spending much of your time hovering there in one place (the platform at Blue Grotto is at around 25-30 feet) with very little body movement. By the 50 minute mark, I was getting cold and starting to get impatient.

I did Primer, Fundies, and one other course in the 72 F springs in that configuration. I have had enough of the shivering. My drysuit will be ready for pickup in December. I can't wait.
