Hello ! This is my first post. I am trying to locate a Rick Bowen. He wrote a few articles on treasure around 1995 that stated that a man recovered about 2,000 lbs. of gold from the east end ( now a state park ) of St. George Island (near Apalachicola. FL ) in the 50's, but he was apprehended & jailed. Maybe 6 tons of gold still remains?? If I can find Rick ( or maybe YOU know the story? ) I'd like to know the sources of that info, the jailed guy's name, and any other available info. Your help is appreciated.
