I'm looking for something I saw on the discovery channel
a couple of years ago. It is a 6 to 10 foot hose with a mouth
piece on it and the idea was to rebreath your own air for
about 15 minutes. It wasn't legally being sold in the US at
the time, but was on the market in Japan as well as
Australia. Would you be able to find out info on it? Thanks

I can't tell if this is some kind of simple chamber or if it actually contains a scrubber from your question.

So I know it's not exactly what you're asking about, but close:

It may look like an integrated octo/inflator but you actually rebreathe the air in your BC rather than from the LP hose like a typical octo/inflator. I guess this meets the strictest definition of a "rebreather" but of course there's no scrubber.

For the record I think this is a terrible idea. :)
