I will be in TC from July 27 to Aug. 8th for the Traverse City Film Festival and would like to do some diving while in town. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Elmwood Twp Park is a good shore dive. The Clinch Park Wood Reef is also a good shore dive. Check with Scuba North (located in the same area as the Tall Ship Tours), They are always helpful when I am there.

Clinch is going to be extremely busy with boat traffic this week(end)...I wouldn't attempt it. Any particular kind of dive you're looking for? Elmwood is a great dive as is Bower's Harbor and Old Mission.
