Can anyone recommend a luxury diveboat in the Maldives?

Thanks, C.

Thanks debersole, I had already looked at the four seasons boat (Explorer)- it looks perfect - wife would be happy! But I was told by the reservation staff on the phone, that 4 Seasons no longer operate it. Seems strange, as it is still all over their web site. Maybe I spoke to the wrong department at 4 Seasons! Will try again. Any other suggestions? Carl.

smokey braden:
carl p,
i spent a dive holiday on the m/v madivaru.

it was a fantastic trip.
i also read where peter hughes has a vessel in the maldives.

i have not been on this vessel but i have on 4 other of his vessels.
welcome to this board.
regards,

Smokey- he said luxury... not Jellystone Park. They'll do for you and me, and I've been on worse in the Maldives as well, but luxury- I don't think so! (Like the Antares only different)

Maybe you or somebody else knows- I have seen at least two SWATH vessels with divers in the Maldives. They looked pretty ritzy. Anyone?

Thanks for all the input. The Four Season's Explorer looks like the best bet. Does anyone know of a way to book this at a discount?? I have seen quite a few internet deals, but when you dig down it seems that the deals were "last year's pricing". Ideally a package including flights from Japan would be good.

Also, does anyone have first hand experience of the FS Explorer? How was it?

Thanks, C.
