Almost every time I click to view posts on SB, I get a notification from my antivirus software that malicious website has been blocked. It doesn't seem to be SB itself but something else. For example, today's blocked site is bevjmnt.hopto.org I actually had to get rid of a virus that infected my computer several weeks ago that I think came from here. Is anyone else having the same issue?

My antivirus s/w has no problem with anything on SB. Sounds like you picked up some malware somewhere else, and it just happens to rear its head when you use SB.

If you had a computer virus, and now your're getting suspicious popup notifications, I would surmise that you still have the virus.

Whatever anti-virus you're using? Try one that searches for malware and root-kits as well.

I initially had Norton on my machine and it would give me the malicious website notices re:SB (the notices came before the virus). Then I got the "FBI" virus. I was able to get rid of it using Hitman Pro. I have run diagnostics since then with Hitman Pro and Malwarebytes that show my system is clean. I have also upgraded my anti-virus software to Bitdefender. However, I am still getting the malicious website notices whenever I go to the "New Posts" area (without actually viewing any specific posts). What would cause it to link specifically to SB? Any other suggestions on how to deal with this?
