Yippppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! My bags are packed and I'll be there soon. I'd be in heaven if I could say I saw the eagles twice in one year. Thanks for the update Karibelle...you've made my day !!
Bet it was nice to see the eagles on Paradice since that's such a shallow reef. You probably got up close and personal with them.Lucky you !

Also for Pidgiepoo.....

Saw a huge Eagle Ray on Yucab yesterday. Very gentle (although reversed) current and the thing actually swam around us and less than 10 feet away.

Current at Paraiso was reversed also, both in the afternoon and on our night dive (where we saw eight octopi).

10 feet !10 feet! OMG..I'd probably need CPR on the SI What a great experience for you. Thanks for letting me know. I just hope they're still in the area in april.

However, how come I never got to see Eagle Rays? I will have to be contented looking at the Eagle Rays photos until next year.

Boy oh boy does this sound like anyone else you know guys???? I mean..how many times did I have to write(and complain) about exactly the same thing before I FINALLY saw that huge squadron last December??? The only thing I can tell you,phx100, is to be patient and try taking a dive at Barracuda reef when the eagles are in Cozumel waters. On one dive, I saw 35-40 in a squadron(they may have been the same ones swimming in a circle). That finally broke my curse and now I occasionally see them....plus I get reminders from my SB friends to keep an eye out for them.
