Hi All,

Does anyone know anything about the BC? I've looked on the Mares web site and they have the Synchro Power Tech, but no Synchro Tech.

I found a really wicked deal on this BC so I'd like to know your opinions before I go out and buy it.

Thanks!

I just recieved the Mares Synchro-Power B.C. I ordered from
Scuba-Toys in Dallas. I haven't had it in the water yet, but the quality looks excellent. I think the Synchro Power-Tech is a little more "Tekkie" and probably a great B.C. also. From what I have seen of thier products, you won't be disappointed. But, then again, what do I know ? I haven't even got certified yet.

I had one of these BCD's for a little under a year (thankfully) and got rid of it. I teach a lot of diving and two of the grommets in the back of it ripped out through the material. At the time I was not doing any diving with doubles, just Aluminum 80's ans Steel 72's, so there was no "unusual" loading on the bcd. I returned the BCD to the store I bought it from and got a credit towards a Diverite transpac 2. I don't know if I like it any better yet or not.

If I were buying one I would make sure I have a good return policy with the store.

The grommets I am talking about are the ones in the back for the doubles.
