Here is one of my holiday snaps. I was lucky enough to have an understanding (diving) skipper who when i asked to dive the mud at the bottom of a Sea Loch in Scotland put me on the exact site i wanted:)


Pachycerianthus multiplicatus or fireworks anemone, difficult to photograph because the seabed is 18" of soft peaty mud, you have to have your bouyancy spot on and you haveto time it absolutley right because as soon as they detect any movement in trhe water column they curl up & retract like a firework rocket in reverse - spectacular
