Help me understand the netting was done under government approval (as stated in youtube description). Are you against all commercial fishing? Is there a particular issue in the Med that we should know about?

I am asking in an honest effort to understand.

I live in a largely agricultural area. The chief crops are wheat, barley and potatoes. Animals are killed in the processing of the crops. I think that they are killed in numbers that would shock city dwellers who fancy themselves vegan.

Now, I am not baiting anyone. I am just shocked by someone calling a licensed harvest a massacre. I struggle with the idea that taking an animal's life is equal to killing a human being. I find that concept offensive.

Should we be good stewards and work to ensure that our resources are used in sustainable ways? Yes, without a doubt. But we do that by wise use of scientific principles and not an appeal to emotion.

Just my 2 cents.
