Arriving Labor Day, with a week to dive. Staying in Wailea. Husband 100+ dives, I have about 25, recent diving (yesterday in Catalina). Prefer small group, have an easier time if boat has a ladder (;-) and don't care too much about the food on board. Nitrox okay but not a requirement. Would like to take photos (budding photographer) and take my time looking at interesting marine life, not interested in an overly aggressive dive profile, don't need to go deep for the sake of going deep...I can be as happy at 35 as I am at 90 depending on the health of the reef and the variety of marine life. Want a knowledgeable guide who can show me all the cool stuff. Heard great things about Ed Robinson on this board, also Mike Severns, based on research, those two and ProDiver seem to suit our personality but haven't heard much about ProDiver. Learned from this board that there are better dives than the wall at Molokini, so not wed to a particular place, happy to let the knowledgeable captain and crew choose for us. Heard Lanai is great diving, but sounds like it would be a long trip for us as we are staying in Wailea. Would appreciate your thoughts. Many thanks!
