I have some openings for a Megalodon shark tooth diving trip for April 29 and 30. The boat is the "Spearit" out of Topsail Beach, NC and Tom Collins is the captain. Divers need to be at least AOW, Nitrox certified, and have NC coast offshore dive experience. Cost is $125.00 per day.

Do you guys do this for fun or is it for a museum?
Because I am with a documentary television company looking for amateurs who are able to distinguish junk from treasure, and that includes architectural, computer, and underwater salvaging, dumpster divers, etc. for a pilot series for the History Channel. The show is sort of Antique Roadshow with a little bit more testosterone so only MALES 18-45 and weekend warriors only please!

In particular, we are looking for people who do this as a hobby and have a great passion for it.

Our show is about the search for such items, the history of the item and the appraisal of the item's value.
We would be doing an hour-long show featuring three men and would follow each person on their journey for their hidden “treasure."
What are your secrets to the best finds?
Where do you look?
What do you find?

If you, or anone you know, that would be interested in speaking with me regarding this show, could you please contact me at the number or e-mail listed below.
Thank you!

Vis is usually 20 to 30 feet, enough to see teeth 2 or 3 feet away if they're on the top. Of course, most are under the silt near an area where you just found one on the top. This is NOT Cooper River diving. It's 25 to 30 miles offshore diving. It IS a blast.

Matt, Are doubles and deco going to be permitted? I have the certs. just curious. If I am going to ride that far I may as well spend as much time in the water.

I'd have to check. I usually dive with overfilled Steel LP108's which have about 135 cubic feet in them. I get about 35 or 40 minutes of real bottom time (plus safety stop time) using 35% Nitrox at about 96 feet deep. I come up with plenty left. We do an hour and a half or two on top and then go down again.
