I'm off to dive the wrecks in Miami this weekend with a group from the local dive shop.

I heard that there was an upwelling earlier in the month that had south florida bottom temps unexpectedly chilly. Is the thermocline gone, or do I need to dig out a "real" wetsuit?

Thanks!

Nope - temps have seemed pretty normal around here. You can check here for continuous updates.

All the reports of the cold thermos that I saw were on tech dives in the 170+ range. I think you'll be fine in recreational depths.
