Hey all, just did my AOW at millbrook this weekend. FWIW, temps were as follows, according to my computer:

6' - 85
12' - 78
18' - 74
30' - 62
66' (airplane) - 39

Overall a very nice weekend. Vis cleared in the afternoon when the students left. Thermocline seemed to be about 3' above the platforms, of course. Not much else to say!

Congrats. And thanks for posting temps. I'll be there doing my AOW there in a couple of weeks. The airplane tends to be cold, but 39??? Ouch. Nice to see the balmy conditions at the platform depth.

Brrrr! :(
Does the plane ever get to a reasonable temp? I'd think late August/September would be the warmest there...
Think it was Oct '07 when I dove it. It was cold, but I don't remember it being THAT cold!

My impression based on only 3 diving seasons there is that Millbrook is slightly colder at depth than in the past couple years - but that is to say 39 degrees rather than 42 to 46 degrees.

Two weeks ago along the deep line from the plane to the winnebago and back along the side of the quarry I had 37 degrees, so the trick to making the plane feel warm is to go deeper and come back up to it. :D
