I have two pairs of FFs. Extras and Tan Force. I have a very minor complaint. Before climbing the boat ladder, I used to pull off each fin (my old Apollos) and loop each over my hand onto each wrist. Then climb aboard with fins hanging from each arm. This makes it easy to climb back on the boat WITHOUT handing up my fins. The gap between the pocket and the bungees is too small with FFs. I can't easily squeeze my hand into the gap. Especially with a bottom timer on my left wrist. Does anyone have any suggestions on any other method?

that depends, in NC you don't take your fins off until you are on the platform, but its a rare day that the boat isn't rocking in 3-6' waves, so that's option 1, but they use a different open sided ladder down there to make this easier, they actually yell at you if you take your fins off early because people often fall overboard from the waves and if you don't have fins this could be bad

option 2) I keep a brass snap ring on my rig, normally off the D-ring on my right shoulder strap, I would clip the heel straps into it, of course, not until after you are stable on the bottom rung of the ladder.

besides the clip comes in handy for other things anyway

Agreed, it's a warm water question. (Trust me, in NJ, we also keep our fins on when clambering back on board. You only make that mistake once. I had Captain Zero give me a five minute lecture about that stupidity about five years ago).

I'll try the clip in warm water. I'll add a suicide clip onto a ring. (Please no comments about NJ or NC here). The bungees should easily slip on.
