Thanks, well maybe the servicing dive shop accidently used a metric o-ring 17mm ID by 1.5mm thick, we use metric here, I'm going to use my calipers to check it?

Or would using a 1.5mm o-ring cause air to pour out?

I doubt if 1.5mm would reliably seal if it sealed at all.

I would expect that they used a SP kit, and hence the correct o-ring.
