Mobulas - best season

Hi,

What is the best time to see Mobulas in Baja Calrifornia? Plan to go both La Paz and Cabo Pulmo. How many days should I plan per each destination to scuba dive or snorkel?

Morning! Maybe you have your answer by now, I'm here in Cabo and we're expecting them any day now. Typically from May to July is a good bet. And then again in November. I often just go out on a boat and snorkel with them! It's easier than trying to find them with a tank on your back. You could do a road trip, 3 days in each place (include Cabo, it sits on the split from Pacific and Cortez).

Thank you so much! It really helps. Can you see them in Cabo San Lucas (if Cabo means CSL)? How do you arrange boat ride?

Yes you can totally see them in Cabo San Lucas. You can actually normally sit in one of the roof-top bars and see them jump in the bay like popcorn! I can take you, send me an email .... laura@caboprivateguide.com
