The yellow cover is an Envoy, if it has a heat exchanger between the hose and case it's a CW.
The grey cover is a ZX and the heat exchanger can be see.
I cannot tell the year born but there have been no major changes beyond the switch to a SS orifice from a plastic and the newer cosmetic covers will work on these if you want to upgrade the cosmetics.
Also, early 2nds came w/ black diaphrams and better blue ones are now being used.

Just to follow up, we were using this style purge cover back in early 2000. Many improvements have been made since then and your local Zeagle dealer can assist you in purchasing the appropriate upgraded parts, if you so choose. Being that old I would suggest checking the housing itself around the hose inlet to see if any cracks have developed due to over tightening the nut.
