Hello All,

I will start out by saying I am an experienced diver but do not know beans about photography much less u/w photos. However, I do enjoy taking u/w photos. I had a Canon S1is and a Canon WP-DC1 case. The camera had a problem that Canon was good enough to cover free of charge, however, rather than fix my S1is, they sent a refurbished S3is. Most people would be happy with the replacement as the S3 has twice the mega pix, but unfortunately, the new camera will not fit into the old housing. The fit looks real close, but there is a seal or some rubber device in the area that the lens fits into that is preventing complete installation.

Has anyone here modified a WP-DC1 to accept an S3is?

Thank you,
