topside conditions not ideal this AM; south winds 10-14KTS, seas 2-4FT, warm sunny skies. double dip on MOLASSES REEF buoys M1(permit ledge/fire coral caves) followed by M23(logans run, winch hole, northstar). underwater conditions very nice: vibrant, dusty, blue water, visibility 40-60FT, zero current/surge, water temp 77F @ 20-40FT. reef sharks, the usual suspects. joined by tom(left his wetsuit @ the dock!) and timg(who provides the captures),,,,,,,,,,,,,

..., water temp 77F @ 20-40FT. reefman

We noticed it up in Jupiter last Thursday, it was a 5 degree jump up. We normally don't get this until mid April. Last year all regularly scheduled big animal sitings were 2 weeks early. This year, everything is running 4 weeks early (except for the WPB whaleshark last week, he was on time.) Gonna be an interesting summer. If Jupiter get's its annual Leatherback turtle migration in the next 2 weeks, then the whole summer season should change with it.

P.S. Tim (Timg)
That is the most hilarious shot on the blue parrot fish swarm, nicely setup and captured !!

Great job Tim - your talent with a camera never ceases to amaze me!

I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to dive with you and watch you work. It's very rare that anyone ever snaps an underwater picture of me...but YOU did :)
