Nice! That sculpin has good camouflage.
That's one reason that I tend to take pictures with natural backgrounds. I know, you want a dramatic black background. Get the critter on a rock, shoot upward, set your f-stop tiny and your shutter fast. Or use the negative space and get a blue (green?) background. I like to see them in their natural settings, even if the background is kind of plain or makes the animal stand out less, because to me that's the beauty of diving.
