The sandy sea floor of Grenada, West Indies, starkly contrasts Grenada's reefs and even more famous wrecks (e.g., Bianca C).

Featured in this video are:

banded jawfish
yellow-headed jawfish
secretary blenny
sailfin blenny
sand diver
sharptail moray eel
snake eel
starry-eye hermit crab
jacknife fish
gold coney
saddled blenny

Very nice video! I loved the rotating eyes, and the hermit crab coming forward to look out of his shell. Well shot, and well put together!

Looks like you had quite a bit of surge -- were these pretty shallow dives?

I think that the busy eyeballs and the lunging crab were my picks for highlights, also. The sharptail eel was less busy than many such specimens, so it provided some better-than-average opportunities, too.

You're very observant. The clips were typically taken in only 4 - 10 m of water, and the surge made for some difficult shooting.

Sounds like really fun diving. We did a sailing trip through the Grenadines a few years back. The snorkeling was great, but I was not yet a diver.

I've spent a bit of time at the southern end of the Grenadines (Carriacou) and plan to inch my way north. Union island and the Tobago Cays (lots of turtles) are a short water taxi ride from Carriacou. The more northern waters tend to lose their greenish hue, also.
