Needing an extra cave O2 bottle - anybody got an old galvanized 2250 PST Steel 72 lying around for under $50? Out of hydro is fine...I would preffer to have it re-plused anyways.

Thanks, Trey

Good luck on the +....
I haven't found a hydro facility that will + anything other than relatively new tanks since last year.

I have one (old VOIT) but it is rigged for my use.....if we lived closer I would be happy to let you barrow it.

I read the title of the thread and knew the world had just gone totally crazy if somebody could have a weekend of fun with a Scuba cylinder.

I guess this is just another case of where the headline is more sensational then the story.

I can't wait for the report ! :D

That's an interesting observation there and I missed it.
I must be slipping.
I usually pick up on the absurd ("Airplane" one liners) right away.

Simplex Grinnell... I hear they're good with the plus ratings

Gary at AAA will do it too...they just did a Faber 95 for me last July - and they replused all of the Steel 72s I used to have as well. Unfortunately the 72s I had were all epoxy lined so I didn't hang on to them. I currently have one unlined tank that I grabbed at Tom's for $50 a few years back...great bottles for O2 due to the super LP rating. Chris may have scared one up for me...gotta see if it's lined or not...

Thanks, Trey
