Which makes me wonder. We know that tropical fish move north with the Gulf Stream and die out in the winter. We know the range of small (and large) terrestrial mammals is moving north, but I wonder to myself if the animals always moved north in the summer and just died of the cold when winter set in.If they are native to further south, like everything else with global warming they are going further north. When I first mover to Missouri 38 years ago you never saw an armadillo. Now they are all over.
