i know it still a few weeks away but.....me and a friend are looking for a dm to dive july 17 in la jolla,or near area.i will be in long beach for the start of the catalina ski race and then will be heading that way so maybe afternoon dives?he has both marm and cold water dives i have 5 cold water dives.and help guys?thanks in advance!

Unfortunately I will be in LA that weekend - however, I can highly recommend you contact Dive California - 619-222-0060 or divecalifornia.com They will certainly be able to help you with a dive master.

Conditions at the cove last week were not great at all - however, the swell is settling and they should improve soon. FYI, conidtions can change day to day - vis up to 30ft is not unheard of and we are getting to that time of year
