Welcome and nice to see another Gulf diver. Don't pass up a trip out to the Flower Gardens/Stetson, it's right in your back yard, and a pretty unique deal, the "Texas Caribbean".

I have heard about the Flower Gardens...However, a 6-7 hour boat ride is not appealing to me

Perhaps one of these days.....
