A buddy of mine said he saw a new knife / shear design. Basically its a hybrid scissor with one blade longer than the other with the outside serrated.

Anybody see this and know the manufacturer?

TIA

Any experience with this tool?

I played with one in a dive shop once. Frankly the thing was so huge and scary it really frightened me. The dive shop guy got excited and told me it was the best tool ever made.

Doesn't sound like something I need to add to my kit.

Thanks

Aqualung has also such a knife / shears described in the catalog of 2002. It is called CISORS. I've seen it in a divestore, and it looks nice. But I don't know what kind of steel it is made of and I didn't take it under water. Does anyone have experience with this knife?
