I've uploaded some pictures from Santo (Vanuatu) and Palau taken with the Olympus c5000; Inon d180 strobe; Fisheye Tray and Arm; Epoque wide angle lens. All photos were taken on full manual - I set shutter at 1/60; aperture around the mid range; shoot...look at the image and then correct with the flash power adjustments. I try to underexpose the background by one stop or so to richen the blue and it has been trial and error. I'm pretty pleased with the results - the sharp focus on the clown fish and batfish is really pleasing and the overall depth of field is something I'd never experienced with a film camera (Nikonos). I'm thinking of trying the wide angle lens on manual focus and set at 60 cm (the depth of field is that good I'm hoping it will look after the rest!) Shutter delay is certainly acceptable but it can be a problem when mid-water pelagics shoot by; or when your trying to fix focus on a bluish shark in a bluish background. Anyhow, Click on the gallery link in the stats box to the left of this text.

Cheers! Wiggsy.
