New to diving want to get involved with clubs

Hi everyone, I will be getting my scuba certification the end of this month.

I thought about purchasing a boat, but considered for how often I'd be diving (approx 2x to 6x a year) figured would be more worthwhile to rent a boat.

Then I got to thinking about scuba board, and figured I would post up here to see if there are dive clubs or groups or whatever that go out here and there and do dives together.

So I figured I would post up here see if anyone in the tampa/clearwater, FL area has any experience, looking for a new dive buddy, etc.

Tampa Scuba Diving Group and Pasco/Hillsborough/Pinellas Scuba Meetup Group

They seem to have fairly frequent events when the weather turns nice but I actually haven't participated in any yet though.

I take my boat out frequently and enjoy meeting new people and sharing experiences. I am currently full for a trip out this coming Sunday. I will post a dive report afterward.
