Hello, just got my first dive computer, did some research and ended up with the TUSA Element 2. I have a TON of reading to do, the manual is not the easiest to follow. I haven't done my first dive with it yet, but I was messing around in the settings and now it's on, running in surface mode for 1 hour already. Is there any way to turn it off manually, or will it turn off on its own after a certain amount of time? I don't want the battery to run down unnecessarily.

Also are there any guides on this computer besides the manual on the disk?

The TUSA IQ-650/750 display will remain powered ON once activated. The display will not turn OFF. Do not be concerned as very little battery power is used. TUSA recommends replacing the battery annually to ensure absolute proper function of the computer over time.
Thank you,
