Anybody from New York tri-state area, better still northern NJ (absolute best, Bergen county) is going to participate in this annual tradition?

I'm transitioning from being a vacation diver to something of a local diver and would love to dive Dutch Springs this December. The idea sounds crazy enough for a layman to be alluring.

Anyone did this in the past? Would a semidry suit hold up OK? Was it crowded?
