Newbie to WA

Hey everyone,

I am a DM from vancouver, BC area. I am planning on coming down to states to do some diving this summer for couple days, shore dives ( $ is a issue!). So far i have came up with the fallowing sites...

Sun Rise Beach Park
Fox Island
Edmons Oil Dock
Salt Creek

Any recommendations? Other sites? Any input will be highly appriciated, also is there a good dive guide that has site reviews and information??

If you are going to do the Edmunds Oil Dock, you might at well do the Underwater Park too.

Check out "Northwest Shore Dives" by Stephen Fischnaller. Lots of good info.

I like diving Sund Rock over in Hoodsport.
Sun Rise is a favorite.
You can't forget Alki Cove #2 ~ There is a reason why we refer to it at "the office"

Let us know when you will be down.
We have a few divers here who love showing non-locals the best sites.

Sunrise Beach is my favorite local dive site, by far!

If you can head out to Sekiu, or Neah Bay. Tons of fish really nice reminds me of Vancover Island

We have a Neah Bay charter scheduled with the Porthole Dive Boat scheduled for Sunday June 17th through June 19th. Six dives in Neah Bay over three days. Accommodations and Travel are covered. We are looking for another diver to join our group. email me if you would like to join our group
