We usually drive up a couple times a summer. When you say upper Niagara River....not really sure where you start. Is that on the Canadian side? I've dropped in above the Peace Bridge, (bigtime current there) and drifted down past the old railroad bridge. River's a bit deeper up there, gets down to 50'+. I've only dove once on the Canadian side of Grand Island. Think that must be where the barge is you're talking about, right? I agree with you...Fantastic place to dive!!!! GD
