I plan on heading to Nicaragua soon. Would like to do some diving while there. I know there is good diving on the Corn islands in the Caribbean - but I dont know if I will be able to make it that way. Will most likely be around Leon, Granada, and San Juan del Sur.

Does anyone here have any information on pacific side diving? Thanks.

I did not make it to the Corn Islands, which would have required a flight from Managua.

I did go to San Juan del Sur by bus, a beautiful little town on the Pacific side near the Costa Rica border. I found a small dive shop there. I think it was actually a surf shop or clothing shop but they did advertise dives. You could tell they didn't do a lot of business with the diving. Since it was just me and there were no other customers, it was going to be more expensive. I decided to pass.
