I love diving the wrecks in the Great Lakes. I am glad you had a good time. I consider in dive above 50 F toasty for me lol (I do dive a 7mm with a hooded vest though). Where are you gonna be diving out of when you come to Lake Huron?

Alpena. Going with Capt. Joe of Thunder Bay Scuba.

We're not doing the Grecian. Just did Deep specialty a few weeks ago. Buddy and I want more experience before going deeper. I've got 46 dives, buddy a few less. The deepest wreck we'll be doing is about 75ft to the keel. DM Wilson/Montana are the deepest. One morning will be the Nordmeer. Monohansett is another we want to do. We'll go deeper next year.

ETA: Maybe the Straits next year. I *really* want to do the Cedarville.

1) Congrats!

2) I thought I had high cold tolerance bc I dive NorCal wet (8/7 mm, as low as 48 deg F) with no plans to go dry. But I bow down to 56 deg F in a 5 mm.

3) Never really had any interest in freshwater diving before, but I think I just added Great Lakes shipwrecks to the list of diving destinations. They look very interesting. If im ever in the neighborhood, I'll bring my gear.
