Hello:
My wife and I recently moved to the Courtenay/Comox area from Nova Scotia. We have a small zodiac we dive out of and I was hoping someone here could give me some direction for some of the local dive sites. Of course GPS numbers for any sites would be ideal, however land marks or any other means of identifying the best spot to drop anchor would also be much appreciated.
Two of the reefs we are interested in at the moment are Maude Reef and Ford Reef both off of Hornby Island. I can see roughly where they are on the marine charts, but again, not sure where the best spot would be to anchor and jump in. I don't suppose either of these places have mooring blocks set?
Numbers or directions to any other sites in our area, would also be much appreciated.
Thanks again
