Like I said, it was a horrific kludge (POS). They tried to make money on their name and history, but nothing to do with proper engineering of scuba regulators. Take a look at the VDH upgrade components (they were the parts that became the modern unit) or the new Kraken. Many of us enjoy our DH regs greatly.

@OWIC647 (I'm linking Bryan from VDH on this thread). Anything I know fails in comparison to this man's knowledge and passion.
 
I think I know him and a couple other guys from back when I was buying in rebuilding the older double hose regulators. There’s only a limited number of people doing that in a small circle and I bought two companies in the United States that I remember that were selling parts for them and such.
