Oceanic geo 2.0 trouble

Hi guys,

I have some trouble with a geo 2. Every once in a while (on the surface) is like rebooting, the red light on the left
is flashing and the time changes.

Anybody experiences a similar problem?

Any "glitches" I've had with our Geo 2's (and we have 3 of them) have always been caused by a low battery. I always carry a spare.

The battery is new. Maybe a bad one?

It's a possibility. I've also discovered that the Geo 2 does not play well with certain brands. I think Oceanic recommend Sony or Panasonic. I've had great results with Renata batteries.

if i remember the battery is a Renata. Anyway, i suppose is worth a try.
