I have narrowed it down to the Oceanic Islander (not the new II model, but the first model) for $300. Or the Cressi Aquapro 5 for $230. I am leaning towards the Islander b/c of it being back inflate (although i never dove with a back inflate before). Any input would be appreciated.
If you have the Islander, can you tell me where the dumps are?

If it were me, I'd get the tech bc. Special. (bp/w) at divers supply for $279

Of your choices I'd go w the back inflate. (I like an uncluttered front)

The wife and I both use the Islander II. We both really like it. Well made, simple and light weight. It has enough attachment points for my kind of diving. I think the pockets are a plus. The back inflate took about a minute to get used to. Not sure what the difference between the I and II are. Good luck!
