Too bad you couldn't go. I got to go back in May before relocating to Idaho. Oil rig diving spooks me out a bit, but it's something I enjoy doing a couple of times a year.

i am bummed about missing out, its one of my fav spots to dive in so cal. try to dive it as often as i can.

Something about the risk of getting swept away out to open ocean and for all intents and purposes bottomless depths that gives me a bit of the willy. But then that's half the fun - conquer your fear.
