The older I get the less I care about what others say & do. I consider myself "above" all that foolishness. But giving short answers and making terse comments happens to be one of the side benefits of 50+. :D

Old men are NOT grumpy: Pensioners view the world through rose-tinted glasses

Older people have a more positive outlook than their younger counterparts, research shows.

Despite the aches and pains of old age, pensioners view the world through rose-tinted glasses, remembering the good times rather than the bad.

[h=2]Old men are NOT grumpy, just horny ![/h]

The older I get it seems the better it gets. Surprisingly enough my grumpy side is nearly gone. You have one life, love it and live it. Each day is a gift. I work six days a week so my seventh day is diving day. A few month left to retire and off to my home in Mexico. Smile and be thankful for the little things that go right. May your bubbles always rise faster than you.

:hm:

Really?

Update:

[h=1]Get off my lawn! Men officially turn grumpy at the age of 70, study claims[/h]
  • Results were found by examining a group of pensioners over 15 years
  • Stress reduced after age 50 but increased again as the men grew older
  • Reasons included poor health, mental decline and family members' deaths
  • Study of 1,315 men published in the U.S. journal Psychology and Aging

Psychologists interviewed more than 1,000 men repeatedly between 1989 and 2004 and found they had fewer 'hassles' as they got older and daily life became simpler.

Yet their overall happiness then reduced around the age of 70 for a huge range of reasons, the scientists found.
