Any opinion or comparison these two SMBs ??

Keen to get a semiclosed quality SMB

Wrote off the Oceanic as it is just a big advertising banner (and not that big at that)

Planning on putting it in a diverrite quickdraw bag with a reel ready attached

The apvalves one is cheaper but doesn't look as though the material is as robust.

(too many problems and failures on the smaller cheaper open ones)
 
I have the AP Valve SMBc. The material looks pretty solid and my overall opinion is that it is a good quality item. Looks like it should last "for a long time" provided a regular freshwater rinse is performed.

I've never seen an OMS, so I can't make a comparison for you.
 
I have a few, The 9'7" OMS is huge. They work well for me.
