OK, So I've had a Buddy Ranger BC for years, and love it, but...

It weighs in at over 5Kg. With most airlines doing away with extra allowances for divers, trying to keep the weight for a 2-week trip to under 20Kg is next to impossible. My Dive Bag weighs 17.5Kg before I've even packed any clothes!

So, I've been looking at lightweight BCs, and saw the Cressi-Sub Flex in the Sea. Their Large size weighs just under 1.9Kg.

Has anyone had any experience of using one of these BCs? If so, please share your experiences!

Alternatively, can anyone suggest any other lightweight BCs?

I've been using one of these for foriegn trips for nearly two years. I've had no problems with it at all, maybe not as much support as a more rugged bcd, no solid backplate, but perfectly adequate.
I use the internal and external weight pouches with no problems and the pockets are definitely large enough for a torch and a compact camera.
All in all a good lightwieght bcd.
